This New Moon calls you to find your inner King of Cups and see the ways in which you handle your emotions 🌚

The King of Cups is known for his ability to pull himself out of the sometimes muddy waters that emotions can plunge him into. It's not that he isn't aware of how he feels—he just knows when sentimentality isn't helpful or required.

When we're super invested in something, it can be a little tricky to take emotion out of the equation completely. If someone's getting in the way of the desires you've been cultivating for a long time, it's easy to slip out of the King of Cups' maturity and go deep into pettiness. Instead of owning up to your abilities, it becomes more convenient to complain and to blame.

Emotions can be wonderful helpers when it comes to our core desires—they help lift us up, inspire us and motivate us. At the same time, when things don't go according to plan, emotions can become hindrances. When we succumb to petty emotions, it becomes all that more difficult to get to our end goals, whatever they may be.

This Full Moon, consider the ways in which you can ease yourself out of tricky emotions so you can move into the universe you desire with certainty and ease. Easier said than done, yes—but I believe the King of Cups provides us with tons of inspiration to do it right. Or at least pick ourselves up off the floor and try again when things don't work out the first, second, or third time.
