Decoding Dreams through Tarot
I was in high school when my older brother gave me The Dream Kit as a present. Since I was a kid, I'd always had very vivid dreams—many of them recurring. It was always fun, going to the bookstores and flipping through the Dream Dictionaries on the shelves to figure out why elevators, spinning tires, and all sorts of bizarre symbols showed up in my dreams.
When I got the kit, I learned that there isn't a one size fits all definition for the images, feelings and sensations that pop up when we're asleep. Through a series of structured questions (and a lot of patience), you can sift through the events that occur in a dream and find out what they're trying to tell you about your present state or situation.
I'd actually forgotten about my Dream Kit until very recently, friends of mine from different circles called me up, wondering if I knew how to interpret dreams because they'd both gotten readings from me. I dusted off my old kit, did the Dream Interview and paired the symbols that had come out from my friends' dreams with my own experience from reading the tarot. The insights we got were astounding! (Who knew that a "random" dream about a giant plant actually meant my friend was begging for some time off work?)
If you've got a dream that won't stop coming, or are curious about what these messages are telling you, I do suggest going through the process of analyzing and investigating everything that happens in your dreams. Even the most inane of symbols can connect to a part of your present self that is looking for some acknowledgement and attention.
