Tarot x 5: Light Grey Tarot

I've always had a soft spot for independently produced decks, and while the Wild Unknown was my first non-mass market deck, it was already gaining traction in the tarot community by the time I noticed it (I got it from Urban Outfitters after all). The Light Grey Tarot, however, I think, initiated me into the world of decks that are illustrated and created by small groups of people who share a love for art and, in some ways, the occult.

Tarot x 5: The Original Rider-Waite Smith

At this point in my tarot studies, I was studying up on the cards, was pretty happy with my Wild Unknown, and was so excited to see that there were actually modern reinterpretations of the tarot (Zombies!). And then I kept running into articles, videos and write-ups on how knowing the Rider-Waite Smith is like knowing the ABCs of tarot. It was available, pretty cheap compared to specialty decks (around PhP600+) and so I snapped it up.
